Johnson. And nowadays you would be hard pressed to find a single
successful entrepreneur who doesn't have a coach. "OK, so what does that
have to do with me"? you ask? Everything!
If you are
anything like most business owners you are trying to do too much in too
little of the time and all by yourself. Generating new business,
managing employees, keeping the books - and that's only a partial list
of your daily responsibilities. It just doesn't stop. How long can you
keep up with all those chores before it finally get to you. You lose
your focus, become less creative and your productivity takes a big dive.
You have less and less time for your family, you barely see any of your
friends - your business is taking over your life... That' where a coach
can help.
The benefits of
coaching are usually obvious almost instantly. We begin by
discussing your needs. But we don't just jump on the first thing you
bring up. You will discover that by taking a little extra time to
discuss your immediate needs, long term plans and some of the barriers a
clear path will begin to emerge. Here is just a handful of issues you
may be struggling with:
- You are struggling
with attracting enough clients. You've tried many marketing
strategies but nothing seems to generate the results you need.
- You are a workaholic,
your business has taken over your life and you want to change it fast.
- Your creativity is
driving you nuts. It seams you're coming up with an idea a minute
but nothing really gets done. You need help prioritizing and focusing on
high leverage activities.
- Your business is
doing OK but you know it could be much better. You've seem to lost
your enthusiasm about what you do and you would like to reignite that
spark you once had and spike up your productivity and sales.
- You work way too
hard for way too little money. You have no long term vision or plan
for your business and you know it's hurting you and you decided to
develop a plan but you don't know where to start.
- You are a master
procrastinator. You know exactly what needs to be done and how to do
it but without accountability you are never going to take the first
step.

by all your business responsibilities. Your level of stress is
unbearable and you don't want to live like this any more.
So how does this
coaching work? Typically we work over the telephone and we have
weekly "sessions". Sometimes, if it's convenient for both of us, we may
choose to meet in person. Most of the time my clients purchase a block
of my time (usually 8-12 hours) and we proceed at their own pace. Once
we create an action plan, as your coach, I will hold you accountable for
your choices until you get the desired results. During our typical
conversation we will address specific problem areas and create
actionable steps for you to take in between our weekly conversations.
You see I may give you best ideas - but without you taking action
nothing will happen!

examples of what you may expect in just a few sessions:
One of my clients
came to me because he was attending all kinds of networking events but
he wasn't generating any business and he couldn’t understand why. As
we worked together I shared with him just two simple strategies and
almost immediately he began generating more interest and attracted
several clients.
Another client approached me because he had a hard time creating a long
term strategy for his business. As we began to work together it
turned out we had to cover some of the basics first. You see this client
had a difficult time communicating the benefits his business was
creating for his customers. Sales and marketing concepts were completely
foreign to him. This seriously hindered his ability to grow his company.
Together we
created a compelling "elevator pitch" first and then moved on to
developing a solid long term plan. We were so specific in our
conversations we even discussed how many contacts he was going to make
on a weekly basis. Each week he had short term goals and a plan to
achieve them. We came up with a chart so that he could keep track of his
progress. Gaining a clear vision for what was possible for his
company, and small, weekly wins got this client so excited that it
caused a major shift in his business and his sales.
